Most Internet Marketers know that to really rake in the big bucks online you need to have your own product, but what do you do if you’re stuck for ideas and don’t know where to start?

PLR stands for Private Label Rights and basically means that once you purchase the product you have the right to modify and resell it. There are usually limitations outlining what you can and cannot do with these products so it is important to purchase one that you are allowed to modify as you see fit. With five easy steps you can create a unique product using PLR products as your starting point.

1. Have an idea. Every new venture starts with one of these. For Internet Marketers, it usually starts with your favorite keyword tool. Find an untapped niche and jump on it. An easy way to find a niche is to use a keyword tool and type in something like alleviate, how to get rid of, and one other good one to start is repair. Anything that deals with someone wanting to solve a problem will give you the best chance of finding a market full of buyers.

2. Find a PLR product that fits with the niche you have just researched. Do as much research about the PLR products as you can. There is some real rubbish out there so make sure you are getting good value.

3. Research affiliate products that relate to your niche. What we’re doing here is finding products you can recommend which will help your customer solve the problem they have.  Record the links that you need to promote the products.

4. Where appropriate insert your affiliate links into the text. If the reader clicks on the link and likes what they see, they will purchase the product and you will get a commission for the sale.  It’s important that you use the PLR product simply as a starting point. Put your own ideas and experiences into the product to make it stand out. Internet Marketing can be a daunting task if you’re new, and this is a great way to make a start but you should be now starting to get ideas you can use to eventually make your own truly unique product.

5. You can sell your new publication or just plain give it away. I recommend giving it away as a free report. This way it could go viral and you’ll have all those affiliate links working away for you while you sit back and relax. Not too much relaxing though, as you need to be starting on your next big thing.

If you research your niche properly, find a few good keywords and modify the PLR product to make it unique there is no reason you can’t make a profit from the above process. Once you get one out there start on the next one. In next to no time, you could have 10 or 20 highly targeted products out there working for you and it’s all on autopilot. That’s a beautiful thing.

Pictures are worth a thousand words. Moving pictures can be worth millions. You may not have the skills of a Hollywood director, but you can create valuable video products quickly. The technological barriers to quality video production have eroded and now anyone willing to do a little learning can create a video-based product. This is a particularly attractive option right now-video is hot and is in high-demand.

Obviously, you can find ways to create products quickly. One question remains, however. How do you decide what kind of product to create?
